The Senses Path

This contemplative hike starts at Hochpillberg car park, where there is a fee for parking. Here there is a large panorama signpost which provides a description of the Senses Path. Access to the Senses Path is right at the car park. You hike past various works of art, for instance the garden of stars. For children the labyrinth at Kohlstatt is definitely a highlight. The labyrinth is made up of lying tree trunks. It is not just a feast of your eyes, it is also a puzzle for your spirit and invites you to head out on the path and get a bit closer to yourself. This leisurely hike takes you over pine needles, grass, mountain pastures, marshland, roots, pebbles, large stones and soft moss. Mountain streams cross the path. Those who want to hone their senses should go barefoot on sections of the path, so the souls of their feet can perceive a variety of sensations. The hiking path is has special route markers.
