The only motorcycle museum in Tirol!

In the motorcycle museum,  Motorbär, you will find the 120 year-old history of two-wheeled vehicles from all over the world. You can follow the development of two-wheeled vehicles, from the wheel right the way through to the state-of-the-art Superbikes of today in a leisurely atmosphere. The invention of the wheel has its roots in the early Stone Age period. The expediency, not only for Fred Flintstone and co.  was and is still is today beyond measure.

In motorcycle museum Motorbär there are brilliantly restored exhibits along with barn finds and even a reproduction show workshop gets old-timers hearts racing. In total there are more than 200 oldies from all over the world to look at.

French, German, Italian, Czech, Polish, English, Swiss and Austrians have built very different motor vehicles. You can’t consider the history of bikes in Austria without the Puch brand springing to mind, since for more than 100 years the Puch factories have carried out superb services in building vehicles.

Some of this can of course be seen in the Motorbär Museum. Even a few American offerings have bizarrely found their way to the Motorbär. In Motorbär motorcycles of all brands and ages are bought on a regular basis. Some models are also offered for sale or for exchange.

Entry to the museum is just 6 Euro which is definitely worth it. Children up to the age of 14 get free entry. A special feature at the Motorbär – when you purchase something in the specialist shop to the value of 20 Euro or above, your entry fee is refunded. After a walk around the museum you can treat yourself to a cold beer or a Latte Macchiato in Motorbär’s terrace cafe.

Motorbär is not just the only motorcycle museum in Tirol, it is also the biggest specialist motorcycle dealer in Tirol, with the largest range of brands and classes. More than 1000 motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, quads, ATVs and moped cars, which you don't need a driving licence to drive, are stored.  Master workshops, a delivery & collection service, along with a huge choice of biker fashion items, helmets, boots & accessories can be found under one roof.
