Maria Larch pilgrimage church was founded in 1678 to house a seated Virgin Mary figure, shaped from clay, which was at one time attached to a larch tree ("Larch"). Since its renovation in 1994 the chapel is resplendent in its former glory. The water which flows from the spring close to the chapel is purported to have healing qualities.
