Silberregion Karwendel is one of the most well-known and best hiking regions in the Alpine region. You can walk across the gentle hills of the Tuxer Voralps, climb up the jagged rocks of the Karwendel, hike to Alpine pastures, roam full of expectation through the mystical forests, or conquer the breathtaking summits with a quick gait.

Silberregion Karwendel, with its 1000 km of hiking trails, has something to suit everyone. From dreamy panorama hikes right the way through to family-friendly hikes, which are also accessible for prams - the TOP hiking region in Austria has something for everyone. The natural surroundings reveal different aspects during each season. In spring the full carpet of gentian provides a blue tinge to the meadows. In summer you can see the Alpine roses in bloom and many of the mountain slopes seem to be painted red. In the autumn the colours of the leaves on the many mountain acorn trees and beech trees is enchanting, while your gaze is also drawn to the golden yellow of the larch forests.
