Route outline

This short circuit which is close by is suitable for families and provides immediate relaxation and a view into the Silberregion Karwendel; noncritical gradients, low traffic. Vomp, a village known for its spring and well is indeed rich in water – and is known for one thing in particular – it’s said that the water in the Stupbach spring (Haag-Bründl) near to Gasthof Karwendelrast, heading toward Vomperloch, flows clockwise and provides healing powers for body and soul. Special tip in Vomp: a trip to Kreuzbichl Chapel. In Terfens, in the only large and interconnected pine forest in the Unterinntal, the Planets Learning Path with reproduction models of planets which are accurate in every detail, will catch your eye. Crossing the fields in Schwaz you head back to the starting point in Schwaz. Here – particularly in the late afternoon – you should factor in the headwind.

Characteristics:

A pleasant Tirol valley tour on fortified paths in the midst of the mountainscape.
